A Family Affair

At Caravia we've always been committed to family and community. Our remodeling project this summer gave us a special opportunity to work with a family we've known for years to build a new dining space for our Caravia customers.

Over the years we've been fortunate to have not one, not two, but all three sisters in the Whitaker family work at Caravia. Colleen, Kelsey, and Makenna Whitaker have moved on to explore other careers, but they visit Caravia often, and we were lucky to have them connect us to their talented father, Roger Whitaker, Jr. regarding this summer's big project.

Roger designed and created the splendid woodwork for Caravia's new seating area, which many of you have already enjoyed. Kelsey helped her dad with the construction, and added her expertise from working at the store to improve the design.
